Linn Olofsdotter's illustrations are totally out of this world. Her strange, surrealist imagery completely transports me to some other place where only these interesting creatures exist. Her illustrations have so so much going that you really have to stop and stare at them for a while. The more time you spend with with them, the more you discover. Look closely at the bottom left image and you'll discover that her shoulder area is actually some kind of sea creature. Or look at the woman with a cigarette and you can see references to Dali and Marcel Duchamp's "Fountain".
Linn Olofsdotter, originally from Sweden, has explored many mediums before solidifying her career in the illustration field. She was educated in Europe and the US in advertising and design, has lived in Brazil, and currently calls Portland home.
