Magnificent magazine, really more of an e-zine since there is no printed version that I know of, is a super-fun fashion magazine. Their tagline is "celebrating personal style, creative thinking and a hedonistic way of living." And it totally does. This magazine is the labor of love of dynamic duo Tim Hardensted and Natalie Pålsson, and what I love about them is that they do whatever they want, and they're having fun with it. Plus they also get to work with a bunch of young and talented photographers and illustrators, like one of my faves, Caitlin Shearer who was featured in issue # 3. All combined, I believe, is a recipe for a fresh, young and interesting publication.
Tim and Natalie work really hard putting this magazine together. Tim does all the layouts and designs the website while Natalie styles most of the photo shoots, and together, they handle all the boring admin work. And while I don't really know how they achieve this, they apparently do all of it with no financial funding. Plus the magazine is available online completely free to everyone. Crazy, huh? However they are managing to do all of it, my kudos to Tim and Natalie for putting out such a fun magazine. It is, pardon the pun, magnificent!
